We have been fortunate to have Mr Wood come into school and help us to create our own clay poppies. He taught us how to work with the clay to form the poppy and how to add colour for a glaze. He took them away and fired them in his kiln.
These were used to create a wonderful display around the yew tree at St Bartholomew’s Church.
