Inspections

Our school was last inspected in January 2014 when we were judged as outstanding in all areas.

Some comments from the report included:

  • The exceptional vision, enthusiasm and drive of the headteacher, well supported by staff and an outstanding governing body inspire pupils to thrive in all aspects of their personal and academic development.
  • Standards at the end of Key Stage 2 are well above those usually found in reading, writing and mathematics.
  • All pupils… achieve well and are extremely well-prepared for the next stage of their education.
  • Support for disabled pupils and those who have special educational needs is excellent.
  • Pupils’ exemplary behaviour contributes strongly to the outstanding quality of learning in lessons.
  • Provision for pupils’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural development is outstanding.
  • Staff are caring and supportive, and, with governing body members, volunteers, and visitors to the school, they create an exceptional place for learning.

Some comments from the report included:

  • Every child is cherished as a child of God.
  • Behaviour and attitudes are outstanding and this is a result of a distinctive Christian vision which informs all areas of the curriculum.
  • Pupils are very thoughtful and have the opportunity to share thoughts and prayers in class reflection boxes.
