Class 4 held a food and craft fayre in the school hall as the finale of the Make £5 Grow Project that they have been working on since January. Make £5 Grow is an enterprising programme run by Virgin Money, which gives young people between the ages of 9 and 11 years old the experience of starting small business with a £5 loan. The programme gives children an insight into how businesses work and the skills that they will need to be successful. The fayre was hugely successful and raised an incredible profit of £347.17. The children now have the tricky decision of what they are going to do with the fund! We were very proud of the way that the children approached the project with enthusiasm and determination from the beginning to the end. The quality of the products was exceptional and they sold them with great professionalism; we are sure that Richard Branson would be impressed!
