Children took to the stage in assembly with their speeches, pledging the changes they would implement if they were elected. Children and staff then voted for their new councillors in a secret and highly organised election process which replicates that of a real life election with an election officer, ballot papers, secrecy screens and ballot boxes. One child from each year group from years two to six is elected. We are happy to introduce you to our new councillors and look forward to working with them on projects this year.
