On Monday 23rd, the whole school took part in an exciting STEM workshop sponsored by the RAF. The engineers explained the children’s mission in an exciting assembly in which also learned about when the first ever rocket was made! The children really enjoyed the challenge of building their own paper rockets thinking carefully about their designs and aero dynamics. They then conducted fair tests where they launched their rockets at their chosen angle and PSI. There were certainly lots of excited screams and laughter as the rockets blasted across the Bartons Field! We certainly have a lot of future engineers in the making.
