On Friday 15th, the whole school gathered together to plant trees which represent each of their houses: Pearmain, Pippin, Pomeroy and Russet.
Our wonderful house captains first prepared the ground by digging holes, then in their houses the children made circles around the holes as the trees were placed in the ground. Shovel by shovel they back filled each hole and then read poems to wish the tree well. We would like to thank our Chair of Governors, Mr B Robbins for sourcing each of the trees, The Big Apple for funding them and Jocelyn and Charlie for allowing us to plant the trees on Homme House land.
